After graduating from high school, Ruby procured a job with Michigan Bell Telephone Company. It was on-the-job training, which allowed her to earn her own living while learning the communications trade. A profession she has enjoyed, and that provided a good lifestyle for her needs.
She never had anyone to really talk to, so she resorted to scrapbooking and writing in a journal. Once having put her concerns down on paper, she could better resolve her own problems.
Ruby has traveled a great deal and has done much volunteer work. She is also a devoted baseball fan.
Ruby loves communicating with people and reading biographies. Now that she is retired, she hopes to make reading and writing a priority.
